No Concerts
02:18
|
|||
I I I I do no concerts I`m too shy
How would I be an interesting guy
So I I I I do no concerts
Do no concerts
I make the songs that will make you cry
When all the songs are sung
And all the bells have rung
I`ll be lying in the dung

I Make the Songs
03:40
|
|||
I make the songs
I make the words
that no one listens to
around the world
I make the songs
I make the words
that no one listens to
way around the world
the world
if I had the nerve
that I would diserve
I could be so famous over the world
but I never know
if it`s time to go
I would put the shame out over the world
over the world
if I told a lie
I would surely die
something to be proud of over the world
never in my life
will I win the strife
I can only speak for myself
do you do you do you
do you do you do you
I make the songs ....
if I knew the art
how to hit the chart
I could be so famous over the world
you would know my name
and it`s all the same
I can only speak for...
do you do you
so many songs
so little time
too many songs don`t know what I`m
doing

Everybody Wants My Money
05:29
|
|||
I`m working both night and day
In order to earn my pay
I`m doing the best I can
Being just another man
Just looking at some programme
They ask me `bout who I am
And tell me what I should do
To be as good as you
Everybody wants my money
And I don`t think at all it`s funny
That everybody wants my money
I ask myself
What is left for me
I ask myself
What is left for me
I`m doing it on my own
When someone comes on the phone
And tells me that to be smart
I just have to buy their part
And reading the paper news
To see if I`ll get my dues
They tell me just what to do
To be as you know who
Everybody wants my …
I ask myself
How will it be
Advertizing motorizing energizing me
Synchronizing how it will be (3 ggr)
I`m working both day and night
In order to make things right
The foreman says it`s OK
If I`m not on holiday
But when I go do my save
I find that I`m not too brave
There`s only thing to do
For happiness so true
Everybody wants my …
I ask myself
What is left for me
Everybody wants my …
I ask myself
What is left for me
I ask myself

Angry People
04:08
|
|||
why do we have to stand in this line
she said
why don`t they let us go
why do they have to lavish my time
she said
that`s what I want to know
she`s so mad
yes she`s really mad
she`s so mad
yes she`s really mad
why do you have to sneeze in my face
he said
it isn`t too polite
I don`t want you to be in my space
He said
I think we`re near a fight
He`s so mad
Yes he`s really mad
He`s so mad
Yes he`s really mad
Why do people always act this way
There`s too many people that put up a fight
There`s too many people with dim sight
There`s too many people that think they do right
There`s too many angry people wasting time
wasting time
she`s so mad
yes she`s really mad
He`s so mad
Yes he`s really mad
Why do we have to live in this place
She said
Is this what we paid for
How can you say this into my face
She said
Don`t wanna stay no more
she`s so mad
yes she`s really mad
she`s so mad
yes she`s really mad
Why do people always act this way
There`s too many people that put ….
There`s too many people that put ….

Collar Man
04:29
|
|||
he`s the Collar Man
who`s watching my time
at breakfast he`s there
to look for a dime
yes he`s the Collar Man
who`s watching the date
he makes an affair
if some one is late
and he wouldn`t care
if I was his mate
Collar Man
Collar Man
he`s here again
today my friend
he`s making a controle
if any one`s grown too old
today
today
so stand up on a line
and try to look just fine
today he`ll say
it`s you that`s grown too old
it`s you that`s grown too old
go away
away
he`s the Collar Man
who`s watching my time
at breakfast he`s there
to look for a dime
yes he`s the Collar Man
who`s watching the date
he makes an affair
if some one is late
and he wouldn`t care
if I was his mate
Collar Man
Dollar Man
and when he`s here
we feel the fear
he speaks out every word
as it would not be heard
by me
by me
he won`t here what I said
it`s going to his head
today he`ll say
it`s you that`s grown too old
it`s you that`s grown too old
go away
away

Nineteen
04:40
|
|||
Nineteen
She was just nineteen
She looked like a beauty queen
The prettiest ever seen
Nineteen
She was almost grown
She lived there on her own
She needed not be alone
Nineteen
Her life was filled with joy
She took her dog named Troy
To go and meet a boy
Nineteen
She laughed and cried
She just couldn`t hide her feelings
She just couldn`t hide her feelings
One day
She walked in the street
As always looking sweet
To anyone she would meet
That day
Life was gonna change
She didn`t have to arrange
It seemed to be so strange
Nineteen
A shock was on its way
She knew not what to say
Or was it all a play
Nineteen
She laughed and cried
She just couldn`t hide her feelings
She just couldn`t hide her feelings
Then he came along
The man who made her life change
He stepped up from behind in the park
Silently a song
And then he was upon her
The dog began to bark
But no one was ther
She screamed and cried
She wanted to hide but where
She wanted to hide but where
Nineteen
She was just …
Nineteen
A rape had spoiled her mind
She knew not how to find
A way to be resigned
(resigned to life)
Nineteen
She always cried
She just couldn`t hide her feelings
She just couldn`t hide her feelings

High In Hull
04:30
|
|||
well, she was high in Hull considered to be rather dull she had hopes and fears but wanted to be like Britney Spears her dream was to be in the big game with jewels and limousine cars she`d do anything and it`s just the same
ending up to hit the stars
And if we just look she won`t blame us
`cause she weares a face we all know she`s famous for just being so famous but it`s just about the show
she was high in Hull considered to be rather dull
she was high in Hull considered to be rather dull
she had juicy fruits
preferring her men in fancy suits
and she`d always bring her umbrella
to make sure there`d be no more rain She would never mate with a sad fella To protect her mind from pain
and then when she`s older and tired
what life will she look back upon
she`s cold as she sits by the hot fire
what is left and what is gone
she was high in Hull considered to be rather dull
she was high in Hull considered to be rather dull

A Crack In Universe
05:03
|
|||
when I wake up in the morning to a new day
stocks are up
stocks are down
I will always have to frown
So I look inside the daily morning paper
Bombs are here
Bombs are there
everybody must beware
and I wonder in my mind
what is wrong with human kind
is there anything that anyone could do
there`s got to be a crack in universe
where all this evil comes in
there`s got to be a crack in universe
I think it`s an awful sin
there`s got to be a crack in universe
it makes the world go in sane
we gotta find this crack in universe
and make it be whole again
I try to justify the reason to be
My mind is of the kind that don`t wanna see
The wrong lasting too long for people like me
what can I do
there`s got to be a crack in …
when I listen to the news that`s on my TV
shooting here
killing there
will somebody ever care
so I go outside to see what`s on in my town
gangs are drunk
gangs in fight
they don`t know what`s wrong and right
and I wonder in my mind
what is wrong with human kind
is there anything that anyone could do
there`s got to be a crack in …
there`s got to be a crack in …
I try to justify the reason …

Boogie-Woogie Caravan
03:25
|
|||
he`s got a boogie-woogie caravan
a day in the life
the children out in nowhere
and it`s frightenin` the wife
the day looks like some other
the day is just a strife
he`s got a boogie-woogie caravan
he don`t blow no fife
don`t blow no fife
he`s got a boogie-woogie caravan
a house in the slope
the ladie`s fryin` onions
and his tightenin` the rope
he`s lookin` in the mirror
to see if he will cope
he`s got a boogie-woogie caravan
he don`t need no dope
don`t need no dope
he just don`t need no dope
boogie-woogie caravan
boogie-woogie caravan
boogie-woogie caravan
boogie-woogie caravan

One Choice
03:09
|
|||
I had just one choice to make the decision
one choice to bring what I can
I made the wrong choice
as always I`m missin`
one choice
it`s things against man
so I would pick me a girl
as you`re supposed to do
and she`d say no no no
I`m so scared of you
and she would pick up a boy
that`s playing bass by the knee
and he`s a cool tough guy
someone else but me
in my life strange things seem to happen all the time
my life is going round in circles and I stand in the corner
I had just one choice to make the decision
one choice to do the right thing
I made the wrong choice
as always I`m missin`
no choice
will make everything
so I would look for the stars
to see a life of my own
and they`d go no no no
I`m nobody known
and I would sing you a song
that`s real in your cyber space
but as the fool I am
you`d laugh in my face
in my life strange things .....
I had just one choice
no choice

Don't Cry I'm Here
03:09
|
|||
you come and put your head on my shoulder
you`re cold like you was dead and you`re crying
don`t cry I`m here
now put your little hand into my hand
you know I understand you my darling
don`t cry I`m here
I see you cry but I don`t know what for
Don`t you cry he won`t come back anymore
Forget all of his lies now my darling
I`ll show you paradise don`t you know now
don`t cry I`m here
you`ll find no reason to cry because of me
Don`t you cry he won`t come back can`t you see
So come and put your head on my shoulder
Remember what I said oh my darling
don`t cry I`m here
yeah
don`t cry I`m here

Office-fool
03:57
|
|||
oh I`m sitting at this table from nine to five
playing my typewriter
oh I`ll never be able to enjoy my time
`cos I`m an office-fool
office-fool
oh I`m sitting in my car four hours a day
queing up to my home
oh I don`t live very far from town I must say
but my wife feels alone
(office-fool)
she don`t see much of me in the daytime
(office-fool)
the children will decree it`s playtime
(playtime)
is this allright
oh I`m falling into bed when at last I`m home
no time for playing games
oh it`s rushing to my head and I feel like loam
`cos I`m an office-fool
office-fool
(office-fool)
she don`t see much of me ....
oh I`m sitting at this table from nine ...
fool fool

When I Get Hungry
02:38
|
|||
when I get hungry
I go to the kitchen
to see if there`s any food
when they get hungry
they look in the garbage
to see if there`s any food
and mostly there is no food there
don`t you care
when I get hungry ...
let`s eat our steakes while we worry
about them
starving child
tomorrow it is still more worse
carve on wood
when the world gets hungry we`ll die
